I've had little inspiration just recently and I've tried to hide emotion because I know I'll explode.

one part is pretty close to The Dance by WT,
like that too

I was listening to The Dance when I wrote it. The line 'Someone is dancing on my grave' is the opening line that I stole.

I gaze into your eyes
I see a million colours
All of the significant beauty
And the light of love.

And I'm falling,

Wanting this dream to be true.

I was afraid to let you in my heart,
Now I have learnt that love is not here to hurt me this time.

I'm not sure if this is the poem you intended me to comment on but i really like this one so i must comment on it anyway!!!
I just love reading your poetry :dark:
Like, i haven't read an awful lot of other peoples stuff so now that i can it really wow!!! I have never liked the poetry i read in school and stuff but i can connect with yours i think, because its so honest and means something solid. I don't know if its personal to you but it sounds like you know what it feels like nevertheless and that you can envision yourself in someone elses life.
I like the way the stanza's are different lengths, thats cool. i like poetry that does not have a set length and rhyming pattern (Some of mine are like that but i haven't put them up yet)
Anyway, i must go and read some more, i don't know if i'm very good at expressing whether i like these poems or not but i really do

I've decided to write something which relates to my family life, so this is very personal to me.


The Saint, The Sinners And The Child

Cry for me, see the light in the dark,
Lie for me, see the shadow of fear,
Cry for me, see the fear within my eyes,
Lie with me, and see the sunrise.

Crazed thoughts in your mind,
Caused by the drug in your blood.
Crazed thoughts in your mind,
Caused by the halucinations of terror to come.
Crazed thoughts in your mind,
Feed by the toxins in the bottle.

See me cry these tears,
Your eyes they are blind,
Blind drunk.
Hold me in your hands,
Your hands are bound together,
Together around the bottle.

You say such things,
Like we are monsters,
I'm not drunk,
I'm just happy.

You find happiness at the bottom of a bottle,
That is where you always are when things aren't right.
Things are never right to you,
Hide yourselves from the world.

They are fine and take care of themselves leave them be,
Come stay with me.

All you do is take us away,
Lead the other two astray.
I do not want to be here,
I do not want to be there.
Care for the other two,
Like you always do.
I have a life to lead,
And lead it I will.

You are a mere child what can you do?
They will not listen to you.

No one listens anyway,
I'm better off on my own.
Leave to drown in my own self pity,
And die here neglected and alone.
All I wanted was love and care.
You were never there!

We wanted to love you,
But you never listened.
You are a defiant child,
Always thought you knew best.
You don't know shit,
Go get out my sight.

You can not see me,
For I am invisible.
You can not see me,
For you are blind,
Blind with drink!
I do not care for you,
As you have not cared for me.
I shall go now and leave,
Don't look for me,
I won't return.
I hope that someday,

In A Dying Dream

I gave you my hands
You took my body
The very essence of my everything
And abused it to your will

Here I am blackened and bruised
Crying and caressing my scars
And wounds that are so deep the never show
I am no longer pure

The pills I take to ease the pain
The pain in my heart and mind
My heart is like ice
My body is cold

My mind silently screams
For a release from this life
This dying dream
The nightmare of past reality

A relived nightmare dwells here
In my mind, playing again and again
I cry fifty thousand tears
As I continue to live in this dying dream

Awake me!
Risvegliami!

I'm overdosing but I still feel the pain
The pain that burns within me
I whisper for death, as I fall in to darkness
As I have done a thousand times before

Awake me!

I'm praying to your God
For an end to it all
Maybe if this God truly exists
God has failed...
