Yeah, it will be a great thing to cheer up the rubbishness of January if the rest of it sounds as good as TTD, that is.

I have to say I adore the single. I'm having reasonably high hopes for the album.

I heard Trip The Darkness and the music was fine, but I didn't like the way the vocals sounded.

What a terrible music video, but I still love the song.

The video is quite different... The white seemed somewhat mad to me, with the huge eyelashes and so on

I'm a die hard fan of Lacuna. But I really don't like the autotune (or whatever this is, but some kind of effect anyway) on Cristina's voice... She really doesn't need it, it makes her voice which is otherwise an absolute bliss, sound really weird...
I love the lyrics and melody, Andrea does a good job too despite a really badly done electronic effect on his voice towards the end, but (never thought I was gonna say this), Cristina's voice ruins it for me this time. I hope the album version will sound better.
I mean Kill The Light, of course.
And lol, this boxset looks crap, really unjustifiably high price.

WTF man, these box sets are getting even more expensive and even more rubbish... And the annoying thing is people will feel like more of a fan for buying it when actually there's no way even most diehard fans could afford such a ridiculous price.
Yet the Nightwish US one was about the same amount of cool stuff as that for only like $30. It just didn't come in a box... I think there was a similar Evanescence one as well. o_O

Just listening to Kill the Light on LC's facebook. It's not bad, I quite like it... but it's nowhere near as good as Trip the Darkness. And yeah, the voice effects are quite weird. I assume it's just a style thing though, I mean Cristina can sing note perfect live so it's not like she needs it

I really like Kill The Light, BUT the vocal effects are jarring me off as they make Cristina sound nasally. I mean jeez, just keep the natural vocals please! Musically I think this album will be perhaps almost as good as Comalies. *crosses fingers*

I've listened to the entire album today (three times, my friend borrowed me the leak, I promise I WILL buy the album) and it's great. I like all songs (except for a terrible, terrible cover of Losing my religion, they've completely killed the passion of the original song), especially Against You and I don't believe in tomorrow. It's a completely fresh direction for them in my opinion, there's few of their old goth vibe but also not much Karmacode or Shallow Life - just a solid, very creative and addictive heavy metal album, their heaviest and most bombastic yet, hard to put it in a subgenre as there's a lot it incorporates.

^ I still have no idea what bombastic really means yet I've seen it in like every album review this year It just makes me think of Shaggy... oh dear...
I'm still annoyed because I want to buy the HMV Exclusive Artwork one if they would only tell me what it is! Got no reply by e-mail, on Twitter they said they'd find out but then never told me... damn it!

Well, I use that word to describe it if some music piece has a great rhythm and pacing, just fun XD
And HMV really don't tend to answer customer complaints, I stopped buying there ages ago, even used CD's at That's Entertainment are better quality and cost a little fraction of what they would at HMV. I'm definitely not gonna bother with any useless boxsets for Dark Adrenaline, but I might be enticed by that special edition with 5 bonus tracks...

I'm going to get the regular edition. I listened to the album, and though it has the dark element present in Karmacode but it's more solid and more over structured. I really like it. The only let down is the damn vocal effects on Cristina's voice.

@Karina I never buy from the HMV shop, it's just the website usually has cool things and is the same prices as Amazon for example I got a signed edition of The Unforgiving from there. That's why I tempted to buy this edition but it doesn't explain what they bonus thing is... Might just buy it anyway and hope for the best!

Well, I only got the signed editions of Oceanborn, Wishmaster, OTHAFA and Century Child from there in my life. The website is cool, but it has that trait that nothing I ordered from there ever arrived to me, I had to moan for a refund every time.

Play sucks too. The best website so far I've tried is simply Ebay, low prices and everything arrives fast. Amazon is good too, but some sellers take months to send their stuff. I ordered In a Reverie from there in October and it only arrived to me after Christmas. By then I'd already forgotten that I ordered something from there, so it was quite a shock to find a parcel with my name that day.

I haven't had any problems with Amazon since living in an easy to find house, they're usually the quickest for me! XD in my old house delivery companies always used to take my parcels away because they couldn't be bothered to find the house >_> but at least Amazon would give me another order or refund me if that happened.
I decided to just order that HMV 'bonus artwork' thingie and see what it is It's the same price as the normal CD so I suppose it doesn't really matter. It'll be a surprise at least!
