It sounds pretty good to me, but Anette's voice sounds really weird...way too edited. :/

So far, I think it's awful. Really poppy and way too edited. Eh, maybe I'll learn to like it later, but if Imaginerum is gonna be that style, I won't be buying it.

On first listen, I also thought Anette's voice sounded totally wrong - it doesn't sound like her. And it does sound too pop-y. However the actual music/orchestra sounds amazing!

I'm hoping that some of the weirdness is coming from the low quality, and that in the proper song you'll be able to hear the vocals better. Of course this album is actually written for her voice too, so I guess she'll sound different to on DPP.

I thought that Anette's voice sounded overly edited too..
Still not sure what to think of the single though, then again I've not listened to the full version sooo.

I'm listening to it right now. It has been posted on Fb. It's definitely very catchy, which is just the way singles are supposed to be.
I like the beginning- it's so pleasantly dark

I really like some of these, but it's of course too early to say much more, given that some of the songs can be, say, 10-minute-long and the samples may portray just the most catchy parts.

My general impression of it was that it sounded kind of insane but epic some songs I think will need a lot of time to grow on me, and others instantly sounded brilliant. I'm going to wait until I get the CD now So excited!

I don't really like the chorus or the bridge but I expect it will grow on me beautiful singing from Marco and Anette though.

I LOVE The Crow, The Owl And The Dove. It's so pretty!

The whole album leaked a few hours ago. I feel very demoralised, but I will not download it.
The fact is the band has spent a fortune making this album, not to mention devoted four years to the writing and recording process. It's extremely disgusting that someone would leak the album, which is essentially theft. Ugh.

I'm just really pissed off, because now the band will lose out and "fans" are essentially killing the music they love.

Thankfully, I think most people who've downloaded it have already ordered the CD. Hopefully it won't make much difference. Someone would pirate it as soon as it was officially released anyway.

I'm waiting for the CD, but it's killing me! Everyone is talking about the songs already I hate England's rule that everything has to be released on a Monday...

First reactions are - it's kind of insane, but mostly in a good way! I really like Taikatalvi, Ghost, River, Scaretale and Imaginaerum. I hate Song of Myself at the moment I mean I don't listen to Nightwish for talking...

But yeah, I think this album will take a while to grow on me because it's more prog than I'm normally used to, Tuomas goes off in a lot of random directions.
