| I really wanted to go to the Restrospect show since I missed their UK tour. But now I'm think of saving to go to MFVF instead, so I can see lots of bands. | |

| According to Simone's twitter, in her Q&A she said the band is already working on the new album. SO,last 2013 or early 2014 release? | |

- On 23rd March 2013, we will celebrate our 10th anniversary with a special performance entitled Retrospect. Joining us on stage will be the 70-piece Extended Remenyi Ede Chamber Orchestra and the Choir of Miskolc National Theatre. It will be our most ambitious project to date, with special effects and unexpected guests, and we are happy it has nearly sold out. Fans from all over the world will be joining us for this special occasion.
At the same time we have been receiving a lot of messages from fans that unfortunately are unable to join us for this occasion, simply because it is too far away from their home countries.
Especially for our loyal fans from abroad we are happy and proud to announce that we have partnered with LiveMusicStage to broadcast the concert live online in HD quality.
Tickets to watch the live stream at LiveMusicStage will be available for 5 euro until the 7th of March. After this date, tickets will cost 7 euro (or the equivalent in US Dollar). You can purchase tickest for the live stream through LiveMusicStage/EPICA. You can also order an exclusive stream bundle (consisting of a ticket for the stream, a Retrospect T-shirt and a Retrospect VIP-laminate) through our OFFICIAL WEBSTORE Source: http://epica.nl/news/546-retrostream-announced

| ^The Stream bundle seems interesting, and for only 30€. Could be fun. But I'll have to have enough pizza and drink to stay in front of my pc during the whole festival. xD | |

| Yeah it's quite odd! The only one I've watched before is Amanda Palmer's livestream and it was free. But I figured Epica are trying to make back the money on the concert - it must cost an awful lot for an orchestra and choir and full on pyros, special effects, lighting etc... You can see them being quite desperate in their Facebook posts, going "It's nearly sold out, honest, you really have to buy a ticket!" Lol. | |

| I think they have made the stream paying like that those who have paid their tickets will not feel abused. Because, well, if I had paid my place to learn two weeks later that the whole world can see the live free, it would have pisses me off.
And of course, making a stream of a good quality available everywhere cost a lot.
So yeah, I don't find that really weird, and it's not often that a big band decide to stream a concert. (And that means that the whole concert will be on internet in HD just after the concert ! o/)

| Simone is pregnant!!! - Quote :
We are happy to announce that Simone is pregnant!
Simone and longtime partner Oliver Palotai (Kamelot, Sons of Seasons) are expecting their first child around the end of summer. To ensure the best possible pregnancy and considering Simone's and the babies health, we have decided to stop our live activities from the 1st of July. This means Epica will not play this years Masters of Rock festival in the Czech Republic.
However this does not mean Epica won't do anything! Our Retrospect live-DVD will be released upcoming fall. Furthermore, during the second half of 2013 Epica will start working on a brand new record which will be released in 2014.
We are looking forward to see you all at the remaining shows this year and will be back next year with a new CD, stronger than ever! Source: http://fb.me/CJLHgyZG

| Apparently Nuclear Blast released a Greatest Hits Epica album digitally...it's kind of random.
It has tracks from their last three studio albums + The Classical Conspiracy.
Kind of a shameless cash in, but apparently it's only $4.99, so meh. Some interesting song choices since Epica hasn't had that many singles...
1. "Forevermore" (Forevermore single) 2. "Storm the Sorrow" (Requiem for the Indifferent) 3. "Requiem for the Indifferent" (Requiem for the Indifferent) 4. "Monopoly on Truth" (Requiem for the Indifferent) 5. "Stay the Course" (Requiem for the Indifferent) 6. "This is the Time" (This is the Time single) 7. "Unleashed" (Design Your Universe) 8. "Tides of Time" (Design Your Universe) 9. "Our Destiny" (Design Your Universe) 10. "Chasing the Dragon" (The Divine Conspiracy) 11. "Never Enough" (The Divine Conspiracy) 12. "Sancta Terra" (The Divine Conspiracy) 13. "Unholy Trinity" (live in Miskolc) (The Classical Conspiracy) 14. "The Phantom Agony" (live in Miskolc) (The Classical Conspiracy) 15. "Pirates of the Caribbean" (live in Miskolc) (The Classical Conspiracy)
Thoughts? Kind of surprised Requiem for the Indifferent has the most tracks, would have expected Design Your Universe to have the most...guess they did it because Requiem is their most recent release.
