| Just wondering if you guys have any guesses/speculation Their agent has said that they have to do a separate UK tour because they can't play very big venues. Which I don't quite understand, since they've sold out pretty much the biggest venues a metal band can play in here! I mean it's not quite arenas, but still... So there will be a UK tour, but not till after the summer festivals, apparently. BUT that still leaves the possibility of a UK festival... | |

I have just returned from a week of rehearsals in Finland and it is going brilliantly. We are all really excited about the tour because the adventure takes us EVERYWHERE - from the Ukraine to the Americas and the Antipodes to India. We will be touring the UK in August I think, but I will post the tour dates asap. The new music "Imaginaerum" is now available and my brothers and sister have reached dizzy new heights with a real "game changing" album. I was at the launch in Helsinki and to see literally hundreds of fans queing around the block in the rain and at Midnight(!) was very touching. The album went double platinum that very day...Huzzah! So... an August tour? That seems unlikely since that's when all the festivals are... but then you'd hope Troy would know! | |

| I was strongly hoping they might be the Saturday headliner... but then Bloodstock did a vote on "what metal genre do you think we've booked for headliner" and symphonic wasn't even an option Unless they still consider them to be power metal? | |

| And they did headline before. Someone said they were put off by people being idiots at the festival (one of which was my friend, rubbish!) but then Marco played there last year with Tarot, so he can't have been put off that much! | |

| Some more insider info from the Islanders forum - the admin asked Tuomas about the UK and this was his response:
"Nothing about the UK dates, yet. Won`t happen before the fall, anyway, I`m afraid."
So they haven't even booked anything yet I guess :'(

They've said that 3 UK gigs have been booked so far but they don't know if there will be others or not yet.
