Thats what I figure. If you really pay attention to the lyrics of Once you can see that it focus on a realationship gone wrong on many of the songs. Than Dark Passion Play comes out and had the kiss off songs to Tarja and Marcelo. Not to metion Tuomas was always staring at Tarja in pictures,interviews, and concerts half the time.

As I remember in Marcelos answers, in June 2006 there was a question about it. And he said that Tuomas felt in love in Tarja, but she didn't wanted him.

My sister knows the ex-girlfriend of Tero, who when on tour with them for a few months once. She believes that there was nothing going on btw Tuomas and Tarja (from what she observed first hand), Tuomas was concerned that the band was going to split up and that he would loose a friend, he certainly wasn't in love with her, or pinning over her.

Well we all have our views.

I think they were all really just good friends when Nightwish first started. He loved her as his friend nothing more.

Who know's? Tuomas wrote such lovely lyrics for Tarja,but why? Was it only work or he really felt something more than only friendship? I think we'll never know the truth and we don't need it. This is their private life(between Tarja,Tuo and Marcelo),not public...

i think he liked her but never told her how he felt, and tarja isn't stupid so she must have realized it sooner or later. the thing is, she married that other dude, broke his heart, and shattered it when she told them she was leaving right before their last show. so i guess he wanted to pay her back with her own venom and kick her out before she had the chance to do anything, and he somewhat humiliated her with the whole DPP album.

with all that happening, i guess the glass spilled over and tuomas needed to tell everyone about it through his music instead of letting it rip him apart.

it might have seemed like he hated her, but it was just a way of letting go and pulling himself together again.

there was only friendship between these two people. Tuomas wrote songs of his experiences in love, life. so he didn't actually wrote like "Feel for You" or "Ever Dream" to Tarja. he wrote it to someone who was in his life at that moment. he has never introduced his girlfriends to media and I think it's OK since he has his own personal life of course. just read the Nightwish-book. you can find many answers there.

I think that the book told only half- truths since I cannot believe that all the Century Child lyrics aren't for Tarja.
those lyrics are so full of love, desperation and jealusy.

I do think ther was some sexual interaction here and there

It's kinda obvious if you look. The lyrics, Tuomas staring etc.

Something happened for sure!!! Most of the songs like 'Ever Dream' ', 'Forever yours' ,' Come cover me ', 'The Siren ' and many other are so full of pain, love ....it's a bomb made of emotions ....
But we all know ...our fantasy has no limits

Hmm, I have no idea if there was something more between them. I should not speculate cause I won't ever know it anyway.
And actually I never heard Tuomas saying he has a girlfriend nor seeing him with someone.
